School Rules
The following are guidelines for students and parents, detailing what is required of the students at St. George's College, Agra in terms of rules to be observed and behaviour that is acceptable. This Code of Conduct is based upon self-discipline, good behaviour both in and out of class, smart appearance, punctuality and consideration for others and their property, politeness and good manners, honesty and tolerance.THE STUDENTS SHOULD:
1. Be proactive in promoting and working towards making school a positive, supportive, safe and welcoming place for all students and teachers.
2. Be respectful and courteous to fellow-students, parents, guardians and teaching and nonteaching staff.
3. Be knowledgeable about discipline policies regulations and rules.
4. Follow school rules and contribute to a positive school climate by behaving appropriately even when not specifically asked to do so.
5. Make every reasonable effort to participate actively in the activities of the school.
6. Recognize how their conduct affects other students and school as a whole and make every effort to restore relationship affected by their conduct.
7. The medium of instruction is English and students are expected to communicate in
English at all times.
8. It is compulsory to bring the school issued ID card to school every day. Not bringing the ID card could result in the child not being allowed into the school premises.
9. For safety and security, parents should refrain from sending money with their child without specific written notice from the school.
10. For safety and security, parents should refrain from sending valuables (like expensive jewellery, electronic items, etc.) to school.
11. Mobile phones are NOT permitted in the school.
12. It is compulsory for all students to attend the school assembly daily.
13. Attendance is compulsory for all students on 26*h January and 15th August.
SHOULD NOT:
1. Cheat in any test or examination. (Cheating is a serious offence. A student caught cheating will be punished and given no marks for the entire subject. The offence will be entered on the offenders record and parents will be notified).
2. Tamper with entries in any school report or class register.
3. Forge parents or guardians' signatures.
4. Damage or remove any notice.
5. Put up any notice or poster or use the name or badge of the school without permission.
6. Under no circumstances re-exam will be conducted for written subjects.
7. Project work and science and computer practical files are required to be submitted by the students of ICSE/ISC as per instructions and deadlines given by the subject teachers.
IN THE CLASSROOM STUDENTS SHOULD NOT:
1. Bring any food or drink into any classroom or special room.
2. Write, draw or put any stickers or labels on walls, blackboards, graph boards, desks or chairs.
3. Leave behind or throw rubbish.
4. Shout or make noise in class or between classes.
5. Touch any switches or teaching aids unless instructed by the teacher.
6. Misbehave in the classroom.
7. Use or touch any IT equipment and electrical appliances without approval.
8. Deface the furniture and wall.
OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM STUDENTS SHOULD NOT:
1. Throw any object from a height that is likely to cause injury.
2. Run along the corridors or up and down stairs.
Students in breach of the rule applying to mobile phones will have their phones confiscated. On the first occasion, the mobile will be returned to the parent. On the second occasion, the mobile phone will not be returned to the parent before the last day of the School year or the last day of classes.FEES RULES & REGULATIONS:
1. Mode of payment of fees is quarterly.
(a) First Quarter (April May & June) to be paid by 20th of April
(b) Second Quarter (July August & September) to be paid by 20th of July
(c) Third Quarter (October, November & December) to be paid by 20th of October
(d) Fourth Quarter (January. February & March) to be paid by 20th of January.
2. (a) Late payment fees of Rs. 200/- will be charged if the Quarterly payment of fees is not made by 20th of the first month of Quarter
(b) Late payment of Rs. 500/- will be charged if the Quarterly payment of fees is not made by 20th of the second month of Quarter

to Friday between 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM.4. If the last day of payment of fees (i.e. 20th) is a holiday, payment must be made before that day.
5. The name of the scholar will be struck off the College Rolls if fees are not paid by the 20th of third month of the quarter.
Fees Rules and Regulations
NOTE: FEES ONCE PAID ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN ANY CASE

5. If the name of the scholar is struck off the rolls, he/she may lose his/her place in the College In any case a charge of Rs. 1,000/- will be made if the child is re-admitted (in addition to the arrears).
6. No child will be permitted to begin a New Term unless all arrears due on his/her account have been cleared in full before the commencement of the New lerm. Children will not be permitted to take any examination till all dues are cleared.
8. Academic Report and Transfer Certificate will not be issued til full fees are paid. ). The tees can be paid during Banking Hours: On Normal Working days 10.00 hrs. to 14.00 hrs. (Monday to Saturday)
FEES WILL BE ACCEPTED IN CASH ONLY.
